 “When we work we work with an ice factory in our brain a sugar factory in our mouth and steel factory burning in our heart.” Always ready to put his words in action, Dr. Akkshye Tulsyan, a MBA from USA has first-hand experience in the steel industry. He worked in his father's manufacturing unit through college and has understood all aspects, systems and processes at the shop floors of manufacturing units.
After joining Vijayaa Steels as Plant Incharge in 2003, Dr. Akkshye Tulsyan took over as CEO two years later. Today, he uses his skills in marketing and finance to transform Vijayaa Steels as the best-in-class steel brand in the longs segment nationally. This includes plans to leap into the league of primary producers, set up captive power plants and take the company public in coming future. He is currently setting up another integrated plant with captive power. He plans to turn it into a primary steel producer in the near future.
A voracious reader and a keen sports enthusiast, Dr. Akkshye has played Table Tennis at the state level and has won many amateur golf tournaments.
